I Made a Dr Who video of cosplay at Gallifrey 2012

When I went to the Gallifrey One convention a month ago I brought along my 3D camera. I've been wanting to try out the 3D video feature for a while and after seeing some really cool Cosplay Videos in 3D on youtube I figured I'd try my hand at it. So here's my 3D video of the cosplay I saw. The 3D is so-so, but there's some really good 3D gimmick moments.

Youtube 3D lets you choose how you view the 3D if you click on the 3D button on the youtube player. The video was originally shot in SBS, but if you don't have a 3D tv or monitory you can use the youtube player to select the traditional red and Blue 3D glasses.

Maybe I should pay attention more.

New episodes of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya are airing and being posted on Youtube.

Of course to make it a million times more difficult to figure out:

When the show was originally aired episodes were shown out of chronological order, so the first episode aired was actually the eleventh episode chronologically. When everything was released on DVD the episodes were reordered to be chronological because nothing was really added by shuffling the order, but since a number of the stories were self-contained it wasn't that bad.

They're rerunning the original 14 episodes now, this time in chronological order. But they're also adding 14 NEW episodes intermixed with the old episodes so that all stories progress in proper chronological order. So far eps 8, 12 & 13 are new. That's actually pretty cool, because it means that during the first part of the run it's mostly old episodes with the occasional new one, but during the second half of the run it'll be the other way.

I'm glad I've never really watched Avatar the Last Airbender. The casting news about the live action movie makes it sound ridiculous.

Guess who's playing Zuko.

That guy. From the look of it the other main characters are being played by similarly white people. Although, in their defense, it's hard to think of someone whiter than Jesse McCartney.
